02/09/2010 - MySpace decided to make their "Stream" mimic Facebook. I don't see a way to get the old tables back at all, but this update makes the 3 remaining, useful, the full width of the main table. Everything that is worthless, of course, is gone.

01/09/2010 - The ID's keep switching back and forth for me, so I edited the code to work with both.

01/08/2010 - MySpace changed the ID's for some fields. This update will fix it.

Updated for MySpace Home 1.3. Created with 1280x1024 resolution with MySpace's Stealth theme installed. It might work on other setups and it might not.

The new code is a re-work of "MySpace 1.3 Home Screen [Customized by TrYp MyNe]", because I'm too lazy to make my own since I don't use MySpace too much anymore.

It adds some features back, like apps, fixes thumbnails, and switches "bulletins" and "stream". If you have no idea what I'm talking about, don't worry about it.

Just update already.

Some of us aren't members of MySpace, and will never be. MySpace BandView hides those parts of the site that aren't useful to us, and tidies a few things up.

Here's what it does:
1) Hides the background image - makes for faster scrolling
2) Hides the MySpace-specific contact table
3) Hides the list of MySpace friends
4) Hides the MySpace friend comments
5) Makes some of the text bigger* (when the default is too small)

*: I'd like some help to get this working better. I've spent too much time working on it already. Maybe at some point I'll have interest in doing it myself, but it will get fixed sooner if I get help.
The following is either too small, or irregulary sized:
General Info: Band Website, Band Members, Influences, Sounds Like
Upcoming Shows: heading, "view all" link, venues.

To do at some point:
Fix text sizes (see above)
Widen page (left and right margins are rather large.
Make links stand out a bit (not always easy to tell from text).
Make section headers smaller.

EDIT: I added "blockquote blockquote" to the list which gets rid of blockquotes that're in blockquotes. This removes multiple quotes in posts. :) For anyone who's annoyed by pages that're looooong because the posters are too lazy to remove some damn quotes. (NOTE: This does not remove the quotes when you quote a post, it just hides them!)

New MySpace launched on 10/27/2010.  With New Myspace the top navigation bar and the bottom bar are fixed to the page and do not scroll.  Neither can be hidden/minimized at this time (11/01/2010).  This script does the following:

1) Top navigation menu now scrolls with the page.
1a) using Chrome, the upper "discover" menu will remain fixed and the lower nav will scroll.
2) The bottom IM bar is hidden.
3) On the User Home Page also cleaned up the big announcement boxes so they are compressed.
4) For new users, I removed the huge announcement which doesn't go away unless you completely fill out your profile.
5) Added border highlight to the share box.

A pretty black and red layout for MySpace, with a few pages (The Home Page, and "Interests and Personality" page in the Edit Profile section). I suggest using my style 8738 and style 8740 styles, because they rock and I was too lazy to do anything with them disabled. :P

Feel free to edit the code to change the colors or whatever. And if there's any pages I forgot, comment and tell me. (I wouldn't worry about profile pages because the majority are poorly made anyway. :P)

Please note that on the "Interests and Personality" page, there's no labels. Just remember which textbox/textarea is where.

Updated: Yes, it's been like 20 minutes since I uploaded this lol, but I added the artist dashboard to the code, so now you can keep track of your stats.  It appears in the top right corner.  If you don't want it, lookin the code at the bottom for the designated area, and remove that part of the code and the dashboard won't show.   Hope you guys enjoy this script!

Not only that, the "Stream" now includes status updates AND all the photo and music and etc updates as well. The list for the "Stream" section is HUGE! So, I sat down, looked at the source of the home page, and made an all-new stylish script. I don't know how well it will work for you, but try it, edit the code to your pleasure. Just make sure to reference to me if you use any of my code. Thank you very much, and enjoy this script!

This is the same design, however it uses a silvery background and changes the blocks to blue. I have Added option to change the style of the info bar. Originally based on a theme I pulled from here, though I can't seem to find it now. The original theme just reskinned the Home control panel. I've expanded it now to cover the photos, mail system, browse users, and the myspace.com main page, to avoid looking at the random crap that piles up there. There are some pages (such as the Edit Profile and Account Settings pages) that cannot be edited to match simply because of the slipshod coding for the site. Some pages barely look at the CSS, and instead have everything hard coded in. And there are some that I didn't bother with (such as the videos and blog pages), simply because I have my own website for that reason alone. Either way, check it out, enjoy, and send any questions my way.

MySpace Home Cleanz0rz is an effective way to clean up your mySpace Home. It is very easely customizable, as you will see in the code. Also, it does a neat little thing to the InfoBox (that thingwith your profile views in it). I created this userstyle because I wasn't happy with any of the other MySpace Home ones available. I guess no one will ever be happy with any preset for his or her MySpace Home, that's why I made sure this one is easely editable.

Simple white background, black text, blue links (not default blue... something more pretty than that!).
Images and other flash elements are resized to keep things in line, and opacity is a thing of the past.

This is a modification of some other style on this site (forgot which, modded it a while ago (SORRY!)) where there was no media at all, so I basically added external media, and fixed the opacity and links.

This is my version of MySpace.com... I was not satisfied with the crappy styles on this site, and MySpace has always been full of ads... All I do on the main page is log in, and sometimes I look at the music page... So I removed everything except the login box and changed the background to white... I don't think I can add links to the Music Page through CSS, so I will figure that out later... Comments welcome!!!
P.S. If you want it to look EXACTLY like mine I suggest MySpace Ad / Annoyance remover, although I don't know what it changes, while making the style I noticed minor differences with it disabled...
