Clean, minimal style for just reading news. Its the "Site cleanup" style updated for the 2011 slashdot re-launch. Floating navigation and side bar content gone.
The newest design for Slashdot is way too loose. This style hides all the content you don't need (including sidebar and header) and shows you the most comments.
The Slashdot redesign includes a left-sidebar and a bar along the top that don't scroll with the rest of the page. This can slow down the page rendering, and just be irritating 'noise' when you're trying to read the comments. This CSS makes them scroll with the rest of the page again.
Makes Slashdot's new design easier on the eye, with a single column for stories and reduced eye-strain.

First pass at fixing up the beta. CSS is kinda sloppy at the moment. Should probably merge these edits with the other beta fix. Feel free to log in and edit. More fixes and tidying up later. Mostly just the comment sections for now.
Based on "Slashdot - use whole screen width, bigger font" with various adjustments for more optimal mobile viewing. New and improved to remove the "new and improved" DICE additions such as inline polls and Video Bytes sections!
Nicer text and less clutter for /.
