After spending countless hours hacking cheap CSS fixes together in attempt to make the experience of Youtube less viral and slightly more functional; throwing out new versions every time Youtube made a slight change, I realized something pretty important: I can't fight this power anymore.

I've been managing this style and its predecessors for almost two years. The initial idea was drastically different than it is today. What this script became was way more ambitious of a project than I could handle. I pressed on despite much difficulty with small, insignificant problems, and I pressed on despite being told my design ideas were incorrect. At this point I have to agree with those people. Nothing I've done here has ever been "correct" design. I just tried my best to make Youtube look the way I wanted it to look and how the general public wanted it to look. It seems by best wasn't good enough.

At this point nothing can save this script short of a complete rewrite and reevaluation of every single change I've made, and inevitably upsetting those who came to like those changes once I decide they need to be removed. I no longer have the time or motivation to do this.
