  Since this hasn't been updated in a very long time, and it hasn't worked in the newer versions of Stylish for some time now... to make this work, all you have to do is change url-prefix(chrome://stylish/content/stylish.xul) to url-prefix(chrome://stylish/content/manage.xul)
  This is my personal favorite of all the Stylish checkmark-changing styles out there, and I didn't want to create a whole new style for such a minor change. I'd rather leave the credit (and install count) with the person who put it up in the first place.

  Looking good!!! Well done..I supose, because...maybe you can help me...when I try to install the "userstyle" nothing happens!!! When I press "Use" nothing happens and even so when I "Install" it...even after a reboot of Firefox 1.5.0.6. When I puss "Chrome" and then "use" it gives a error like: " '/' found where identificator for pseudo-class or pseudo-element is expected. Ruleset ignored by wrong selector" ==> Please I'm new in this and maybe it's just normal or easilly explainable...so be yentile in your answer ;) ...by the way...I use adblock v. 5 d3 * nightly42 (maybe this userstyle isn't meant for this version???) thanx in advance.

  Udate 6.30.06 I can't find an email to contact you so I did it here. Can you update this so the icon can change on whitelisted sites like it does in the new version of adblock plus. Currently it doesn't nothing using your style and this is a great feature for adblock plus IMO. THanks.

  Great tweak! I made one small adjustment, which might help Lee Dailey - and that is I wiped out the whole first "treechildren." section & started with 2nd one (treechildren::-moz-tree-checkbox(checked)) - now, disabled = nothing, enabled - green dot. Even more intuitive and cleaner. Great script Peng, thanks.

  this would be nifty IF the icons were more easily identified when hilited. the current enabled/disabled status is not clearly DIFFERENT to me when hilited.

  Even if you're just using this to limit width to keep from stretching the screen, which I am occasionally inclined to modify it (further) to do, still, way better than that text wrapping script/bookmarklet, because, hey, it works with those annoying super-wide images so many people seem to like to post, too.

  this is great, but my mouse horizontal scroll wheel won't scroll on any wide item (vertical is fine), like this page. it seems i need focus, by rt click to outline then right click on the scrollbar to get rid of the menu, then i can horiz scroll. any ideas??

  you can use menuitem[disabled="true"] { display: none; } to hide all disabled menuitems in all menus
  and to also hide separators that follows it, use:
