When viewing a video, YT added a search function to the right of the page, which is white of course.
Putting #wsSearchForm under the "Highlight Blocks" section fixes it.
Edit 11/20/08 - Seeing messages about sponsored videos and Google Chrome adverts in yellow boxes @ homepage. I suggest putting .pyv-callout-box (sponsored videos), #chrome-promo, #side-announcement-box (G-chrome ads) under the /* Ads */ section.

I tried looking around to see if there was some way to revert my youtube to a different style itself but there wasn't. Any help or update for this would be appreciated.
i love your style, however would it be possible to have it implemented everywhere except on channel pages so that i can see the style that was chosen by that channel?
Hmm, that's odd Decadurian. I just rechecked the code and it works without any errors. But if instead of replacing the last part you just add the code to the end then the numbers will just show up for both web and images search, i guess i messed it up a bit last time
It could be your computer specifically, I'm not really sure. I've always liked surfing through the code and fixing it. I was just never very good at going from scratch. Also I'm very new to Firefox. I agree with you though, close but still a tad unfinished.

I am currently using two different styles for reference.com (this one and the one at http://userstyles.org/styles/10589). I prefer the other one a bit more (because of the text ads removal), but right now, running both is optimal.

November 2007: I really, really like this! I came here to search for an ad-free dictionary.com and found this. I still seem to have pop-up ads though, even with this and Ad Blocking FiltersetP installed. Any thoughts as to how to take care of those? Thank you.
Sniped, last part of your code does not work, comes up with an error. As nice as this script is, many people have been asking for sometime now for ALL of google to be covered, in particular images, to no avail. Personally, I would much rather use a script that includes it all from the installation forward, as opposed to farting around editing code. Until then, great script, but unfinished IMO.
Very nice. Makes Youtube look so much better. Only problem I seem to have is that the drop-down menus you get when click "Flag" (when you're flagging a video as spam, for example) seem to contain nothing until you disable the style.
Just a shame that google are always using bright images, you won't get to see any new logos they display with this style since it replaces the logo, but i understand why this would need to be done.
I'll keep it though, it's a nicely done dark look, and so far not found any problems with it, i'll post any bugs i find.... i'll do you the favour of posting a fix to mate... ;-)
I love this style... Could you possible point out to me where I can change the link colors though? I'd like to change them from the grayscale to a medium green or something similar. It's too hard for me to distinguish links when all the text looks similar. Just a thought. Keep up the good work!
I've been using it for a long time, I love it. Seems like the #masthead has changed to #old-masthead and #footer to #old-footer. (Seems like it was already updated on the old site.)
It turns out that sometime before the update, the Adblock Plus extension started blocking the " Google " logo for whatever reason. Anyway Thank you for the update. Much appreciated.
I love this style too. I have been using it for a long time. I highly recomend it to anybody. But I also am having some problems with it, similar to the previous two posters. Hopefully they will be fixed. You rock!
hey I'm loving Google in a black theme, recently it has a little error that needs to be fixed, in other words when you search something the Google logo on top left is white and the bar that says how many searches is white too. so it needs an update :)

I like it! I found a problem though, If you click show comment on a comment marked as spam the background color is still the old color. This fixes it though: .watch-comment-spam { background-color: #000 !important; }

For Opera users: -Copy the code & open in a text editor -Save the code as a .CSS file. -Open Google in Opera. -Right click and select "edit site prefs",there is a box on the "Display" tab that allows you to use your own css or js file. -Select the CSS file you just saved. ~Enjoy~
It's good but can you make one thats orange and for all the pages like image search and Gmail and can you make it in the google.com.au because it's hard to change the image search on google.com to google.com.au
Google has changed their sites yet again - this time all coloring for header/footer area bars and the Google Navigation image at the bottom are failing in this style - the colors show as flat light gray areas with white text and the Google Navigation image shows up as the standard white background/colored letters instead of the text replacement found in this style.
This is just what I have been searching for. Would you *please* make it work with the floating divs on the youtube beta homepage (youtube.com/iyt)????????
I like the style, very relaxing and the colors are great. I did have some problems getting it work well with the experimental google search for different views. I made some minor modifications.
First I added the views google page to the url-prefix array, I added this under the url that ends with custom?: url-prefix(http://www.google.com/view?)
Then I added the modification to the selection buttons to get them working, as shown below:

I use google.com.br, stylish REALLY NEED WILDCARDS!
I suggestion, the links need to be more different in a non clicked link and a clicked link, simpli make it darker are not a good thing, usability over visual.
And the best thing is that it works with "google suggest" page aswell... I just had to change the "google.com" for "http://www.google.com/webhp?complete=1&hl=en" and it work perfecly...
Really nice style, however the google sponsored links show up as a big white ugly box in the upper right corner. Any way to either remove these or make the box the same color as the background or transparent?

The Style is amazing, all of (vC) work is just ART !! Now, since Google changing their site all the time, (now I get results from www.l.google.com and the Style doesn't work anymore) maybe Its time to adjust the Style to Yahoo! Search. Yahoo! Search could be a good alternative while Google making life 'harder' for us, and changing all the time their website.
Great, but I had to make some changes for it to work with the Beta Shortcuts. To the /* Replace small upper left logo images */ add this into the list of to-be-replaced: table.tb img
Then of course disable the original logo by adding img[src*="experimental_sm.gif"][width="150"] on the disabled logos list.
To put a transparent background (instead of the original yellow one) on the experiment warning, write this: #exp_msgs td, .one, .two { background: none !important; }
The style is nice. But, as netMASA said above, it needs some fixes. The most important now is to change the text color for the yellow buttons: .action-button-text { color: #000 !important; }
I tweaker it to make it have an arial font with bold writing as its easier to read. Also its a good idea to make the video slightly bigger so that it still keeps its shape use the #movie_player tag, very good script and with the extra tweaks I certainly prefer it to the boring layout they currently use.
This style used to be great, but it has some broken parts still.

AMAZING! Everything works fine for me except it's kind of annoying to have tool tips pop up which I can hardly see (due to the gray yellow foreground and yellow background).
Too bad, while the layout has changed, I can still see the ads. Everything is more readable, but it's still annoying. Does the script need to be updated? Thanks for your effort :)

I love your dark gray styles. I'd LOVE it if you made one for myspace, since I hate the new interface these days. It's probably impossible to make one though, since it's always changing these days.
Really great style.. 5 stars. I've tweaked it a tiny bit to show the "videos being watched right now" but I'm wondering if there's a way to change the object to work with the background.
Looking good again, but something is up with the Arrow in the About portion of the page, to me its repeated 11+ times though the About This Video text. Still 5 stars though :)
Looks great! Now my eyes won't hurt from all the white! My only complaint is that the text in my SiteAdvisor popups were also white. I simply added a couple of style rules to this style and it fixed it (see the discussion I posted at http://userstyles.org/forum/comments.php?DiscussionID=616&page=1#Item_1).

Very nice. Just one comment, google is redirecting to local version when available i.e. .fr, .ch, .uk, is there a way to get your style generic enough to have only one and not as many as visited countries.
It's a good start, but needs a lot more work to integrate with more pages (eg. Gmail, Calendar, Preferences, Video, About Google, etc.). Also, I found that if you go to /preferences?sa=F (the link from safesearch), because of the way the table is made (and safe search highlighted) it hides the SafeSearch option. Also it would be better if it made more of those cool Google logos (eg. Images, Groups, Video, etc.) for the others... Overall, good for your normal search.
This theme no longer works. The top "tabs" are now buttons are are in blue with light grey text colour that is unreadable. But the style is awesome otherwise :P

I love it, especially since it matches my WindowBlinds skin, but for some reason the little box under the video (for ratings, sharing and posting videos, etc) has a white background while the text is gray, rendering it rather unusable :( Could it be because I have Greasemonkey scripts installed to aid in my downloading videos from Youtube? Apart from this problem (which seems to be limited to me only), this is an excellent piece of work.
A site such as ScrapeTorrent operates entirely off donations. I'm assuming nobody who install this will donate; therefore, how do you expect ST to earn any revenue? The least you could do is allow it to serve its unintrusive ads.
