The background errors are because the image path has spaces in it, if you replace the space with a - or _ (obviously change the online url also) it will remove those errors.
The color error happens because the hex color value you have stated only has 5 numbers not 6, put the correct hex color value in and that will solve that problem.

The page shouldn't load any faster as all you are doing with the css is hiding the content not stopping it from being loaded.
That being said it is handy.

I have found two problems with this. The first one is the my assistant doesn't appear and the second is on the signature page in the control panel the update my signature button doesn't appear.
Apart from those two problems I like it.
