  I changed the way it hides by changing display:none to margin-top:-20px; to make it so I can keep my current organization: the adress bar and the navigation buttons are in the same bar as the menus :D

  Can you make it appear also when the mouse is hover a link?

  Cochem, try this:

  #status-bar {
  margin-bottom: -30px !important;
  padding-top:20px;
  }

  #status-bar:hover {
  margin-bottom: 0 !important;
  padding-top:0;
  }

  and see if is it something what u're looking for :)
  You can also increase/decrase the numbers to modify as u want
