I like this one better than your Lifehacker - streamlined, but I had to tweak it a little. There seems to be an unnecessary horizontal scrollbar, and a few ads still. To remove the scrollbar I just removed most of the "width:100%" lines, and to remove the extra ads, I added this:
BTW, this style works for quite a few other sites as well...check the very bottom of the lifehacker page for a list. I tested it with sites like Gizmodo and Kotaku.
Is this for hiding the videos from children or something? I don't see why you would hide all the embedded videos...'cause without videos, YouTube is rather boring ;)
I rarely use shoutcast, but that's definitely a nice improvement (I may be a tad biased though...hehe), and clean too!
There's only a small problem...you forgot to add "!important" to some things, so the style isn't always applied properly (for example, links are sometimes non-bold and then bold when hovered over, which causes the table to resize strangely)
I think your last selector [class="iAs"] should be using color:inherit, instead of color:black. That way it uses the text color of its parent element, instead of assuming all web sites use black text ;p
Nice...I was just about to work on a style for this site, so now I don't have to =) Only problem for me is that it doesn't fully extend all the way to the right (@1280x960), but otherwise good.
Hmm, this made my menu go on the right, and your screenshot shows it on the left. I fixed it myself, but anyway, good job. Also, it seems you're missing a few !important's...might want to fix that.
There's too may things wrong with this..no namespace, no -moz-document, no !important rules, bad title, bad description.. Please read http://userstyles.org/style/tips and look at some other styles to see how to write a style properly.
Sweet! That's one strange color scheme, but I love the idea. Thanks!
Edit: I just noticed that the custom background color is a bit broken with this, because I still get some parts with a white background. Instead of this user style, I found that you can edit firefox's viewsource.css file, which by default should be in firefox's "res" subdirectory ("C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\res\viewsource.css" on Windows). Editing this file works a lot better! BTW, there's no need to restart firefox when editing this file...just press Ctrl-R to reload and your new changes will update.
