  It has a misleading name. It remove spaces from other parts (as described in the details). Maybe you should split the code to remove space from toolbars, menus, statusbars.

  Gmail status message, like "The conversation has been moved to the trash" displays in 5 rows in a narrow box.
  The hover effect hurts my eyes.

  Same problem here!

  Spinner container is at center, but only the top of the spinner is visible. FF3b5 here.
  So please update the style!

  A simple fix would be:

  Hi! Can you add hiding/unhiding by a click option?
