This Style is nice, except that it hides the EXPAND buttons within individual messages. When you restore this functionality, this will be one of the better Styles out there.
I like this Style a lot. I do have a few suggestions though: 1) The Search Mail, Search the Web, Report Spam, Delete, and Archive buttons all appear to me to be monstrosities. Could you reduce the size of each of them somewhat (cut them each in half maybe)? 2) Could you also reduce the size of the Text Box (for Search Mail and Search the Web), and possibly change the color coordination for this box? Its just that this humongous white rectangular box in the middle of the screen draws attention to itself, in a negative way (perhaps it could remain black or gray ordinarily, but could become white only when activated for use). 3) I know you're not going to believe this, but.....where in the world is a/the GMAIL logo?????? - HA!
When using this with a Style such as the Gmail Redesigned by Globex, I have found that while composing an email message, it is impossible to actually SEE the email addresses (which ordinarily automatically pre-populate in the "To" field, which otherwise makes selecting one's recipient's addresses(s) a very simple task). However, with this Style, you cannot see those addresses at all. They are completely grayed over.
Can you please fix this. Otherwise this is a wonderful Style, but unfortunately not as useful as it could be because of this issue.
I really like this style a lot. But like so many other styles I have noticed lately, this one in particular has eliminated the 'expand' (and 'collapse') functionality(s). Is there any chance you might restore these functions (ie --- what this does is makes an easy way to find an individual message within a conversation (specifically those conversations which contain too many messages to simply play the 'guess by clicking' game, which is what you must do by default when there is no 'expand' button). I suppose there may be a keyboard shortcut which would solve this problem, but I do not use keyboard shortcuts, nor do I plan to anytime soon. It really makes me wonder why so many styles here like this one are devoid of this functionality.
Also it would be really great to have a slightly lighter font style color for composing messages.
FYI: I have been using FF3 for a little over a month now, with absolutely no problems. The post I originally made here was made out of ignorance, because I didn't know how to accurately describe the error in question. But no more issues to report with this style now.
@shinji: Yes you are correct about that, however, FF3 did seem to correct all of that. But thanks though.
Very Cool! Thanks, keep up the wonderful work on this (using it now)!!!! This one is on the same level with Globex Redesigned Style, or perhaps even nicer. A few things I have noticed that are still needing work are: When there are only 12 or fewer messages in the Inbox there is a big bright very ugly patch of unnecessary white space at the bottom of the screen. Also, the Compose and Contacts screens still resemble the "traditional" Google Gmail displays way too closely than they should (I'm sure you'll eventually change them). Lastly, there are still some (incoming) messages I am receiving which don't look right (don't display correctly) due to some of the colors being presented over a black background. I wouldn't get rid of the black background, but would just like for all incoming messages to have their text and graphics appear correctly, as much as possible.
Other than this it looks great so far. I hope these comments are helpful to you.
I like this a lot, but only have one complaint. While using this I was not able to create a FILTER for incoming mail. Can you please fix or update this???? Thanks!!!!
I think this is a wonderful style. However the only complaint I have is that (at least in my experience) there is absolutely NO way to distinguish read messages from unread ones. Please update this style by allowing unread messages to have a different color in the Inbox. Or, alternately, you could simply cause the read ones to take on a smaller, thinner text style, while allowing unread messages to remain bold. However, I believe that some combination of these suggestions would be best. Otherwise, great style. Thanks!
