Using Greasemonkey (which is to JavaScript what Stylish is to CSS), I did a similar hack, making Scroogle look more like Google, and adding several Google-styled features (cache links, translations, similar pages). Since this style doesn't need to loop anywhere, it is probably more efficient, so users with extremely old systems are probably better off with your hack rather than mine.
