Removes all advertising (no ad blocking extension required) and horizontally expands the table for full horizontal resolution. I'm not supporting this style any more because tvguide.com - minimalist listings looks so much better. If someone wants to take over development you have my blessing. The screenshots are old. There is an edit included if you want to remove the preferences box at the top, but removing this will remove access to a lot of personal settings. 29 September 2006 - Removed the right frame ad. 02 March 2008 - A little fix. But remember, I am no longer providing support for this style and I am not spending a lot ot time in development. 08 April 2008 - Try Zap2it - cleaned and resized for an actively maintained style.
I knew practically nothing about CSS before last month, then Zap2it pushed me over the edge by forcing me to see ABC's listings (which is not in my favorites) at the top of the grid - with an irritating background image included. Anyway, this style sheet gives a more usable 6-hour grid by increasing the width and removing the rest of the stuff that I don't use and don't want. See the comments in the code for more information. Also note, I've been using Firefox 1.5 until a few months ago (Dec. '08) and it correctly displayed the sizes of boxes in the grid. Then I upgraded to version 3.04 and the boxes for different stations vary in size, leading to them not line up properly with the grid times. I have yet to investigate to see if newer versions of Firefox fix this problem, but I have been using this style sheet in Opera (9.5 beta) instead as it works properly. (Update June '10: using Firefox 3.6 now and they're displayed properly again.)
You may have to edit the "tvlistings3", in the domain.
just the good stuff. I don't plan on maintaining this because I'm all about TitanTV Cleaner at the moment.
Ad free, all black background with light gray links and cyan text. I've sized the font for a screen resolution of 800x600 pixels. If you've got a larger screen resolution just use your browser controls to increase the text size... Your favorite shows are styled with a maroon background ~ sports with dark purple ~ movies with dark navy ~ news with a dark gray ~ & kid's shows with a hunter green background... >>> A special thanks to Webb from which this style started from... :) Cheers!
