NOTE: This style is no longer revised or maintained as I got tired of fighting with monobook for control and bored with the look. Along with Wikipedia - Wiki(square) this is only online for 'archival' reasons. Feel free to copy, but please don't use. This style sheet overhauls a number of Wikimedia sites (chief among them en.wikipedia.org) for simplicity, legibility and consistency. It replaces the default monobook look with a more classic encyclopedia-/textbook-like theme, turns the menus into the dropdown variety and reduces the number of sister article links (links to the same article on different-language wikipedias) to a more manageable level and allows you to customize which you want displayed (e.g. only the Dutch and Swahili ones).

This style is based on the popular Grey Lady style ( http://userstyles.org/styles/1365 ), but has a darker color scheme. This effect was achieved by inverting most of the colors in the original Grey Lady style. *update1*: I made the background color of images white so transparency doesn't look weird. *update2* Based on DonBex's helpful suggestion, I changed the colors and the pages should be easier on the eyes now. *update3* I updated the style to use the latest Grey Lady II, due to a wikipedia update that broke the old style. I used a new method to generate the colors which looks better. Suggestions are welcome.

this is a fairly small edit I made to Wikipedia - Dark grey w/ nicer search box by cupcake that edits the "go" button picture, the link color,& the logo picture, all in a blue theme. I have the logo picture in base64, due to the (un)reliability of free image hosting sites. Notes: The link colors may be too bright for some people, so edit the a:visited{color: (color) !important; font-weight: bold !important;} a:link{color: (color) !important; font-weight: bold !important;} to: a:visited{color: (hex color wanted for visited links) !important; font-weight: bold !important;} a:link{color: (hex color wanted for new links) !important; font-weight: bold !important;} BUGS: - The tabs are slightly off the edge & disconnected - When you save/preview the style, it gives you an error message saying:"Error in parsing value for property "border" Declaration dropped." Ignore it. If you can fix either of these, post a comment. To find the themes for other parts of the Wikimedia project, go to my user p
Works on: Wikipedia, Wikibooks, Wikimedia Commons, Wikimedia Meta, Wikisource, Wikiversity, Wikinews, Wictionary, Wikiquote and Wikinedia Species. This style makes the menu boxes float, moves some of them to the right, and highlights languages moving them to top of the list. Works on all Wikimedia projects, unfortunately not in all languages. I've tested it on Polish and English sites, seems to work fine in some of the others, too. Looks really good on wide screen. (It's that long because different projects have different sizes of the boxes, so they need different positions. Probably could be a bit shorter, I'll fix it sometime later. )

I like using border-radius. I really do. :D Headings and small links have a different typeface with this style. See screenshots for better comparison.
This is a slightly reduced version of Wikipedia - Grey Lady , primarily intended for those who wish to load the style as a script. Apart from making it available to non-Firefox-browsers, it may also be a good FF option too, as large pages feel decidedly less sluggish this way. It is, however, a fairly large and unwieldy style sheet and the script does not seem to produce the desired results as consistently as Stylish's implementation. NOTE: Just tried this in Opera... Not pretty :( Dunno about Safari...?
