Replaced the older/newer posts images and swapped sides (right is older, left is newer). Replaced the prev/next image arrow icons with thicker (drop-shadowed) versions. Moved the comment name above the post time. Made 1/5 star comments significantly more transparent. Made 1 heart comments slightly more opaque. Made 2 1/2 star comments slightly blue. Made 3 star comments more blue. Minor other changes not shown.
Layout from Joystiq.com - Futurestiq Beta by valentinb102. Gets rid of the entire right side panel and a few other annoying elements. Black background with a dark theme. There are probably a few obscure/rare images here and there that still have white corners. If you find any, let me know and I'll fix them. This style removes all the ads on Joystiq.com. It reduces everything into a one column format while still maintaining basic site functuality. Videos and images are made smaller in some of the stories to provide better readability. "Whited-out" or "down-voted" comments for each story could be made visible by hovering over them with your mouse. Changelog v2 (03.22.2009): Hovering over the small images in the article will resize the image to 100%, allowing you to see the image with more clarity and read what is on it. Not sure why I didn't do that before, but at least now it's possible.

pretty basic edit, got rid of stuff i didn't use and thought i'd share it. didn't mess too much with the comments. note: also using adblock plus
Removes the ads, sidebars, and footer from http://www.joystiq.com/, as well as removing most of the header except for the search box and a now-transparent JoyStiq logo. In addition, The initial pictures or flash videos seen in most posts, which with most Stylish stylesheets have whitespace around them, now allow text to wrap around them , with less wasted whitespace. Known problem: Bullets can cut into images. Not sure how to fix it. Sorry about any poor screenshot quality, the filesize limitations on screenshots are bafflingly low. [Edit: A newspost on Joystiq today had a non-floating image. I have tweaked the stylesheet to fix that.] [Edit: Another quick fix.] [Edit: Fixes due to changes in the site design, also made some changes to search results pages and article pages to remove more clutter and make more room for comments.]
It removes the sidecolumns, ad banners, and the large footer from the bottom. It looks clean, clear, and crisp!
Cleans up the useless parts of the site, leaves the "news" behind. Background images are stretched out of laziness, if someone wants to redo them to the proper size feel free to do so!
This style adjusts the way the Site looks by changing the White, adjusting some headers and font sizes. I also added the comment Unfade. The code is taken from a couple older related styles for joystiq.com with adjustments from me.
