Removes the top Keenspot bar and the Keenspot Newsbox from Keenspot comics. Sorta has an odd selector syntax, but it should be specific enough to not hide stuff it shouldn't. If you find it does, you can limit it to the *.keenspot.com domain, but keep in mind Keenspot hosts some comics with their own domain name. Tested on http://www.ozyandmillie.org/ and http://www.newshounds.com/ , two of my favorite webcomics. :) Keenspot bar remover is similar to this, and actually probably does a slightly better job, but misses the newsbox.

Makes selected text more visible. I'd have thought someone would've, already, posted this but couldn't find it, in a search, so figured I would.
I don't claim to be an expert however I didn't see anything listed that did what I was looking for so I decided to do a little hacking to do it myself. This style removes roughly 95% of ALL page style other than page position layout. It will remove the following: - Images - div, table, span, etc borders - text color - background color - embeded objects (flash, video, audio etc) The concept was to strip almost everything yet leave the layout for the most part intact. Providing nearly a text only browser effect suitable for stealthy browsing in places such as work where it might not be acceptable to be on the web or when you want to be able to read the content of the site without a bunch of images and colored design elements. Without resorting to something like ghostzilla (I didn't need to have the entire browser hide just don't want to be obvious about when I am browsing). (DISCLAIMER : PLEASE NOTE THIS DOES NOT HIDE THE PLACES YOU VISIT YOUR HISTORY WILL STILL SHOW WHA
This auto hides the "find toolbar". Until you of course move you mouse over the bottom where it is normally located at... I will also say this if your find toolbar is 20 pixels in hidth that you adjust the margin-top to just one less that the height of find toolbar (e.g. find toolbar height is 20px then margin-top should be -19px). Side note i used margin-top not bottom bacuse if the status bar is showing and you use margin-bottom it will cause the find toolbar to go ape when you run the mouse over the statusbar...Just incase find toolbar causes anyone to go huh? either hit the f3 key for it to show or ctrl+f, or "quick find" / or '...

Free up some more space by removing the unnecessary "Go" and "Search" buttons.
Adds overline to visited links. Inspired from "Link: Visited links with opacity effect"
hiveminder team is implementing the css in their site. changes are visible (minor bug with the hidden mode right now). but soon all will be fixed and all of hiveminder's users will gain from this experiment. all and all - way to go hiveminder team! for listening to your users and for acting quickly as you did. jesse (for hiveminder, the comment down below) ... it feels pretty darn good ;) *easily scan your tasks with vertical line (hidden mode and visible) *task id almost invisible (opacity low - don't need your "screen attention" all the time) *changed the size of the main box and scootched it to the left a bit. for better focus. *added distance between checkboxed and text your requests and suggestions are always welcome...
1) Hide the dropmarker. I think it's simply unnecessary as you can choose your search engine via popup by left-clicking the icon. 2) If you don't want the popup to appear, i. e. if you only have Google search, you can hide it. 3) Disable highlighting the search engine icon indicating the site you're actually visiting offers adding its search to your searchbar. ---------------------- updated 07-29-2007
