After the Gawker sites (Lifehacker.com, Gawker.com, etc.) were compromised they posted an urgent warning on every page to change your password. Once you've done that, you no longer need the annoying warning. This simple script hides it from you.
Cleans up Gawker sites. Based on Gawker Blogs - Minus Garbage Plus Width (Jan 2011).
Changes light scheme to dark and indents comment replies and makes them slightly easier to read. Removes white overlay that sometimes fails to hide as well.
Removes the article sidebar so that the text is less cramped. Includes various other useful improvements.
This style makes Gawker sites fully fluid, to take advantage of all the available screen estate on a widescreen monitor.
*** This applies to all of the gawker media sites, including -- domain("lifehacker.com"), domain("gizmodo.com"), domain("i.gizmodo.com"), domain("gizmodo.com"), domain("valleywag.com"), domain("gawker.com"), domain("jezebel.com"), domain("defamer.com"), domain("jalopnik.com"), domain("io9.com"), domain("deadspin.com"), domain("consumerist.com"), domain("kotaku.com") So you can't have a screenshot :) Originally, I tweaked http://userstyles.org/styles/6616 a bunch. I deleted the sections in there about modifying the placement of the search bar, I widened it to look really nice at 1920*1200, and did some other minor tweaking. *10-15-09* Spent my morning eating Twix Bars and editing. Thanks Gawker for messing up my style. All repaired. I removed consumerist, being they aren't a Gawker site anymore. Might be more coming soon, but this will at least keep you going. *10-15-09* Yep, fourth tweak. I'm learing css more than I cared to. *10-19-09* Ok, After reading Devo'

This is a style that makes the Gawker sites dark in color. The style is still a work in progress, but it works well enough for now. [Update March 20] Finally got around to fixing Gallery posts. I also changed some things on the tag pages. You can easily change the size of comments now, just change the pixel value of #comments. I set it to 800px instead of 600px as well. Some other changes as well.
