Simple and basic style to darken the blank and new tab pages in Firefox.
Fixes Firefox menus black font on dark background in placebo Angst and Kitsch Object visual styles.
Colorized to compliment BlackFox, LavaFox, or similar themes. Mozilla logo and snippet ads suppressed. Buttons highlight on hover and depress when clicked. Style also sets about:blank to same background image to minimize "white flash" at start-up.

Remake of Stratiform 1.2.1 same option. For hiding protocol (querry, index) like Opera does it the Smart Location is required. If current version 4.7 of Smart Location doesn't work properly try Smart Location 4.7 mod 4 Fx-13 Lite Firefox Operalike text-field Lite for Firefox 14+

Tired of never seeing your desktop background because your browser is always open and maximized? Try this. Based on "Discreet Transparency" by Satoz and "About:Blank Glass" by foxxyn8, which I combined and built upon to create a minimalistic style close to the classic Firefox, but totally transparent, in the spirit of Windows 7 Aero. If you installed this style, please take the time to review it and leave your feedback.
This stylesheet replaces the background of blank tabs and windows with a repeating animated GIF of a glittering, starry sky, in the antiquated style of an amateur homepage from 1997. The image is stored inline as a data URI, so it doesn't rely on a server. The image is shamelessly pilfered from Olia Lialina's exceptional 'Vernacular Web 2' article: As you can see, the image below isn't really a screenshot; it's just the animated GIF itself. If you need help imagining the effect before downloading this style, just picture it with a status bar underneath, a tab bar above, and a scrollbar to the right. I hope you do not find the stars too big or the glittering too fast!
