Automatically hides the statusbar, unless you hover over it, hover over a link or when a page is loading.
Based on Auto-hide Statusbar by LouCypher.
There seems to be no way to get this style to work with extensions that add statusbar panels in front of the url. In this case I suggest you use the extension "Organise Status Bar" and put "statusbar-display" on top, or use the extension autoHideStatusbar and forget about this style at all.
using this script gives me problems when using yahoo! mail...the page keeps refreshing and i dont know why.. besides its great
Great style, but I have problem with addon "Forecastfox" (https://addons.mozilla.org/extensions/moreinfo.php?id=398). I marked the problem with red border:
http://img530.imageshack.us/img530/6025/forecastta5.jpgIt only happens when I load/refres page. Everything is ok when I hover mouse on.
Once again thanks for great style.
Very nice! Also consider using a background and/or text color for #statusbar-display[label^="https"] and so on.
@pitdicker This is what I did for flagfox icon that was before the statusbar:
#status-bar #flagfox-statusbarpanel {
margin: 4px -4px 0px 0px !important;
position: absolute !important;
}
Just substitute the #flagfox-statusbarpanel element for what you need and play around with margins depending on icon size.
I have the extension "Extended Statusbar" installed on my Firefox. Could you get it to work with this also?
UPDATE:
http://i36.photobucket.com/albums/e27/mbskma/Screen03-1.jpg
This is what Firefox looks like after hovering over the hidden statusbar. Notice all of my icons on the far right of Firefox. Those icons are Faster Fox, Cooliris Previews Enable/Disable, Greasemonkey, IE Tab, NoScript, Stylish, and Update Notifier in that order. Everything is perfect so far.http://i36.photobucket.com/albums/e27/mbskma/Screen02.jpg
This is what Firefox looks like after hovering over a link. Faster Fox is the only icon showing in the far right corner of the status bar on Firefox. Firefox 3 Vista Theme isn't showing correctly. The URL that I have hovered over isn't showing in the status bar.
Please try to fix these. I really would love to be able to use this script. I think it's a very good script. At least update me on the situation please. Thank you.
