{"url":"https://userstyles.org/styles/8983/google-reader-multi-column","name":"Google Reader - Multi-Column","description":"This style makes the postings in Google Reader display in multiple columns, as suggested by some of the comments on a Lifehacker article:  http://lifehacker.com/399109/make-google-reader-widescreen+friendly\r\n\r\nIt is a simple enough style, but there are some options to play around with.  You can choose to 1) have a fixed column width or 2) simply have a preset number of columns.  As written, this style chooses the latter, as it is simpler to make work on any given screen resolution (the former is simply commented out).  Additionally, please note that some images don't display properly; I think it may have something to do with \"vspace\" and \"hspace\" html code (any help would be great!).  Other than that, everything SEEMS to be fine.  This is still a work in progress, so there \"will\" be further modifications to come; please feel free to make any suggestions.\r\n\r\nI suggest you see one of my other styles, style 3090 , which addresses the issue in the above mentioned Lifehacker article, to use in combination with this style.\r\n\r\nSee \"CSS3 Columns\" on  http://developer.mozilla.org/en/docs/CSS_Reference:Mozilla_Extensions  for Mozilla specific(?) code or  http://www.w3.org/TR/css3-multicol  for CSS3 code (not yet implemented?).\r\n\r\nP.S. - If you like this multi-column approach, I might also suggest style 3730 for multi-column Google search results.\r\n\r\n_________________________________________________________\r\n07-23-08 - Initial release\r\n07-23-08 - Improved image re-sizing (resizes images, only if too large)\r\n07-24-08 - Embedded object re-sizing (resizes flash videos, etc)","author":"USBman","created":"2008-07-23T15:28:53.000Z","created_ago":"almost 18 years","updated":"2008-07-24T09:40:56.000Z","updated_ago":"almost 18 years","category":"site","subcategory":"google","weekly_installs":0,"total_installs":1250,"rating":"none","isPremium":false,"screenshot":"https://userstyles.org/style_screenshot_thumbnails/8983_after.png?r=1779429613","license":null}
