Turn the location bar yellow when using an encrypted connection to a web site--meaning, its address starts with https://
Works--but is a bit messier--on Mac OS X.

If you use this instead it'll make the entire bar yellow instead of just the middle of it.
#urlbar[level] .autocomplete-textbox-container,#urlbar-icons[level], #urlbar[level] .autocomplete-history-dropmarker {background-color: #FFFFB7 !important;}
nice job,
and you may need to add this to keep icons the same bg as urlbar :
#urlbar-icons { background-color: transparent !important }
Very nice, thank's
Nice one Gina!
Thank you! :-)
You were 2 years late.... check Change URL bar security colors
Excellent, security reminder at a glance, like in good old times. Adopted.
Excellent script Gina, much needed for those of us who use Fx themes that hide any secure site colors in the address bar. I know there is the padlock but in some themes this is hardly noticeable either, so job well done Gina and to Ace_NoOne
Nice!
Gina,
Thanks for the extra layer of security.
Nice!
Since I have a completely dark theme all over my computer and now in my browser, this definitely helps me to quickly notice when I'm at a secure site. Many thanks for this style!
Nice!!
