For the news forum LibertyPost. Overrides the TABLE layout of the sidebar and NavBar to create scrollable gradient-filled semi-transparent popup menus. Which sounds much grander than it actually is.
More Info
I've marked out in the text in the comments where users might want to remove some stuff I've just been dinking with. Version 8 of Firefox is broken on the RA_Article SPANs for some reason though I expect they will fix it shortly.
This has been tested on Mac and on Windows using Firefox v3.6 - v8.0.1 with generally consistent results. All the features work on the Mac version (abbreviating huge articles and huge comments into a scrollable text box, so you don't have to scroll wildly to get past some really long post.) When Firefox fixes that SPAN bug, then these features will work (again) on Firefox.
12-14-2011 - made the NavBar "float" (not scroll with the page). I included comments to tell how to modify it back to a non-floating menu, i.e. pinned to the upper left of the page. I also changed the A top: positions to use a a:nth-child(0n+1) selector to reduce CPU use for positioning the items in the NavBar.
1-1-2012 - updated style for better compatibility with Firefox v8 - v9.01. The use of older versions of Firefox will no longer be supported. Firefox 5 onward should work but I will focus on the last few releases of Firefox.
1-17-2012 - added libertypost.net to the domain's scope.
