Add scrollbar to Bookmarks menu and Bookmarks toolbar menu only
Nice idea... but doesn't work properly...
Yes I get the scrollbar, but when i grab the bar and moves it downwards (or upwards), then as soon as I move it just a little, the dropdown box disappears and I now have the pointer with a square that you get when you drag a link. So only way I can use this style is by clicking the arrows (goes very slow) or click on the areas were the bar isn't and then jump around. This does go faster than without the style, but it is an annoying, unprecise and buggy way of doing it. Would be nice if you could grab the bar, like you normally can when browsing websites.
Can you please fix this? Cause it is a very great idea, just to bad it doesn't work properly and there aren't any other alternative styles that you could try :(.
Also tried the extension 'Bookmarks Scrollbar ', here: https://addons.mozilla.org/da/firefox/addon/2600 , but that contains the exact same bug as this style does
No comment required. Instant 5-star.
Very cool!
Thanks for writing it.
Yes! Finally!
Thank you for this very handy style! I have a large monitor so I changed the max-height to 1100px to remove the scrollbar when a bookmark folder's entries fit on the screen. I have a 'Misc' folder that goes on forever, so now it's much easier to see all the entries by just using the mouse scroll button instead of the arrows.
This is good, especially since it is adaptable to other menus as well.
Cool idea, but sometimes submenus hover over the scrollbar making it hard to get to. Still, this is better than the arrows that appear when a menu is longer than the screen.
