The latest design for the Gawker sites looks a bit odd after Adblock blocks the ads, and an ad box cleanup removes the empty ad boxes. So this rearranges some things to make better sense, and retain all functionality.

10 March 2008
* All Sites - The Gawker sites underwent a little style change, this userstyle may need a couple more tweaks, but things should look right now.

23 Jan 2008 (no change to the style)
* Gizmodo - The wide header is gone, nevermind yesterday's statement. If they use those new ad boxes in the future, they'll still be blocked.

22 Jan 2008:
* Gizmodo - The front page took on a wider header, obsoleting this style. I'm waiting for them to change the article pages before I move them to a different (simpler) style. Until then, the new ad boxes are removed.
* Defamer - The sidebar was a little off, now it's not.

Changes (Original):
* Ad boxes are removed.
* Header shifts right.
* The sidebar moves up.
* The article text, and comments are widened to fit under the header
* The "byline/date/read more" box fits off to the right, beyond the main content. The overall width is a little wider than before, but most of the box is still visible for the small monitor crowd.
* Article title text made smaller

The screenshots are for Jalopnik, but the same changes are across all Gawker Media sites (US versions only):
