A skin for Wikipedia and other Wikimedia sites (by default only English language site is enabled), it features a simple, clean and uncluttered interface for a better on-screen reading experience. The style sheet, licensed under a CC license (see code comments), is thoroughly documented for the benefit of anyone wishing to borrow or modify.
Version 0.94 attempts to convert the menus to mouse-over menus (just css, no javascript) - sort of a compromise between cutting them and leaving them in. It's by no means perfect but it works, mostly. I'm probably gonna leave this thing be for a while, so I thought I'd post the best I had achieved so far.

Install options
- Install Stylish for Firefox, Thunderbird, Flock, Mozilla Suite, SeaMonkey, or Songbird. If you have Stylish already, make sure you're using the latest version and have JavaScript enabled.
- You need Firefox with Stylish to use this style. Get it now, then Install Stylish, then come back here to install this style.
- - load into the Stylish extension where you can preview and save it.
- - this style has been updated since you installed it in Stylish.

Beautiful sheet, just one minor issue--- at the bottom, in the box where Wikipedia lists relative links, the links are the same color as the background. It can still be read by hitting Ctrl+A but it'd be nice if there was a way to change those to a different color... or perhaps just changing the border of that box, instead of the background? Just a thought.

this style is really really superb
it is a fantastic solution to styling a page with a hell of a lot of options -- the style i was working on had started to contradict itself and become very unwieldy
and the extensive commenting makes it excellent as a base for further tweaks
