For best results have the following images blocked:
http://www.google.com/reader/*tree-view*.gif
http://www.google.com/reader/*star_inactive.png
http://www.google.com/reader/ui/*logo-scroll.gif (propably not necessary anymore)
http://feeds.*.com/~*
http://feeds.*/~a/
http://rss.*.com/~*
http://feed.*.com/~a/*
If you don't block at least the tree-view gifs, then you'll have to change the number in both occurrences of max-width:220px , as well as the margin in #nav
If you exclusively use the keyboard, you change the -10 in the margin to -20 or even -30. If tree-view gifs are not blocked and/or you use the mouse, try -5 or 0
If the fact that the scrollbar of the sidebar overlaps both areas bothers you:
decrease the latter max-width number by 10 to 15 pixels. As it is, it doesn't actually cover anything important - The first letters of an item in expanded view is still visible , as is the star icon.
The sidebar looks a funny in Opera but doesn't hurt usability.
Don't need read the number of unread items in a feed/folder - change max-width to 160 or something like in the other styles.
