Another in the "Scores in Sidebar" series for tracking live sports scores in the sidebar. It shrinks the relevant data to 300px, just right for the sidebar. The larger the screen the better it looks.
I use it with a modified version of Auto Hide Sidebar. If you can't get it to work properly with Auto Hide Sidebar leave a message in the forum and I'll post my modifications.
To use this you will need to create a bookmark to
http://cbs.sportsline.com/nfl/box-scoreboards
Right click on the bookmark and check the "Load this bookmark in the sidebar" box.
16 September 2007 - Added some css to clean up the "Stats", "LIVE" and "Preview" pages that open when you click on the links. (Open them in a new tab.) If you don't want to look at any of those pages you don't need to update.
Issues -
The page does not reload itself. You will need to reload the frame manually. I have found another source (MSNBC) that will refresh itself but I'm still working on it.
This uses the same source as the iGoogle CBS Sports module. It will slightly increase the font size in the iGoogle module but I think it looks better.
Install options
- Install Stylish for Firefox, Thunderbird, Flock, Mozilla Suite, SeaMonkey, or Songbird. If you have Stylish already, make sure you're using the latest version and have JavaScript enabled.
- You need Firefox to use this style. Get , then Install Stylish, then come back here to install this style.
- - load into the Stylish extension where you can preview and save it.
- - this style has been updated since you installed it in Stylish.
