if you use column bookmarks ,you might have noticed the box that
the 2 columns shows up in is a bit narrow. choGGi wrote this code
to widen the box. works good. the column bookmarks extension is a
bit skittish though, it doesnt always display immediately and it needs
some work.{hint to a bored developer} but this is good if you are using
it.
