This stylesheet hides the right ad block and collapses the right column to a specific maximum width. This stylesheet differs from other existing styles in that it uses relative units (ex) instead of fixed units (px) so that scaling the text size will still work and it does not hide any other elements in the right column. It also does not restrict the message area width.
I have specified a maximum width of 17ex because the right column fits without causing horizontal scrolling at a resolution of 1024x768. You can increase the maximum width of the right column, if your resolution allows it or if you don't mind scrolling horizontally, by increasing the value 17 everywhere that it occurs.
Install options
- Install Stylish for Firefox, Thunderbird, Flock, Mozilla Suite, SeaMonkey, or Songbird. If you have Stylish already, make sure you're using the latest version and have JavaScript enabled.
- You need Firefox to use this style. Get , then Install Stylish, then come back here to install this style.
- - load into the Stylish extension where you can preview and save it.
- - this style has been updated since you installed it in Stylish.
- - Greasemonkey and Opera users can load this style as a user script.

Gmail - Hide ads and collapse right column seems to not work (anymore...?) using Gmail @ gmail.google.com (redirected to mail.google.com)
