I wrote a user-style to clean-up Google for my needs. I'm not sure if this will work on every system-configuration, because I'm using different 'google'-extensions with my firefox. Sure is that the main-page (google.com, .de a.s.o) will stay blank, that is because google is not well-formed. (actually I don't need the google main-page) Maybe other users could help to improve this userstyle. Please leave comment (discribe how the site renders on your system). Thx
Install options
- Install Stylish for Firefox, Thunderbird, Flock, Mozilla Suite, SeaMonkey, or Songbird. If you have Stylish already, make sure you're using the latest version and have JavaScript enabled.
- You need Firefox with Stylish to use this style. Get it now, then Install Stylish, then come back here to install this style.
- - load into the Stylish extension where you can preview and save it.
- - this style has been updated since you installed it in Stylish.
- - Greasemonkey and Opera users can load this style as a user script.

It's true, the code should be corrected in order to avoid a blank google homepage.

Here the main site gets totally blank. Nothing appears. Firefox 1.0.5.1 on Windows 2000 Professional. I have too many extensions intalled. Anyway, the idea is very nice. Gets really clean. Perhaps some paddings or margins could be smaller, but this is easy to adjust.
