I made this entirely out of boredom. Functions are as follows:

Changes New Tab button width
Changes New Tab Button Position button width (obsolete in 3.1)
Maintains width for tab scroll arrows, tab menu
Keeps width of all mentioned buttons uniform.

Changing the width of this extension can also help in making the buttons more larger, do you feel the need to give yourself a larger click target area.

Changes in 1.01:

Late to the party, but finally in, is the tab groups / "Panorama" / "TabCandy" button. Also, old, legacy code for "New Tab Button Position has been preserved, and the default width has been buffed to ensure demonstration of the changes.

Since (at least with extension TotalToolbar) the new tab button is removable, the option to disable the new tab button is, well, removed. Unnecessary cruft gone!
