The author has marked this style as obsolete.
Completely ineffective as of 20080811. Will unobsolete if I develop an update. Consider using their "lite" version (wund.com) instead.
Clean up Weather Underground: just the weather, please.
This CSS was tested with a default installation of AdBlock (with a subscription to EasyList) on an unmodified page for a US city as an unsubscribed user. Results may vary with different ad blocking, content filtering, page layout, or content.
The search box is hidden. To show it again, look under "** header **" for the selector to comment out. Some ads were removed by targeting their place in the page, which might hide things other than ads. See the CSS comments for things to comment out if you find content missing.
Sometimes the five-day forecast is hidden on first load. A reload or toggling the style makes it visible again. I don't know why. Suggestions are very welcome.
Update (1/26/07): updated to reflect a minor markup change -- a script element is gone, so header-hiding selector stopped working
Install options
- Install Stylish for Firefox, Thunderbird, Flock, Mozilla Suite, SeaMonkey, or Songbird. If you have Stylish already, make sure you're using the latest version and have JavaScript enabled.
- You need Firefox with Stylish to use this style. Get it now, then Install Stylish, then come back here to install this style.
- - load into the Stylish extension where you can preview and save it.
- - this style has been updated since you installed it in Stylish.
- - Greasemonkey and Opera users can load this style as a user script.
