Two problems here: 1) Opacity makes XRender really slow and 2) Low priority questions waste screen space.
Instead, they now are tinted red ( opacity disabled ), fonts shrunken, and the whole thing compacted down to ~20px high,
and expands on mouseover( via :hover )
