How to install

• Install Stylish plus Kallout for Firefox (or from here for just Stylish or for other Mozilla apps). If you have Stylish already, make sure you have JavaScript enabled.
• You need Firefox with Stylish to use this style. Get Firefox, then install Stylish plus Kallout (or just Stylish), then come back here to install this style.
• Install with Stylish
• Update installed version in Stylish
• Load as user script for Greasemonkey and Opera users.

Google recently decided to do some really hideous things to the classic Google theme on their iGoogle. This style (mostly) restores the look and feel of the original 'Classic' theme.

Restores the clean looking tabs, replacing the awful side menu.
Restores the gadget title styling.
Removes all the silly rounded edges and such.

I've only tested this with the 'Classic' theme. Except for the colors (I was forced to hard-code some to override the existing style), it should mostly work with other themes but let me know if there are major problems and I can try to correct them.

Separate sections are commented so that you can more easily comment out sections if for instance you don't like the side menu but do like the rounded gadgets.

If you see any problems, please let me know. I'm open to any suggestions.

Restored the dropdown menu in the first tab
Made some minor changes to the tabs and the gadget titles to better mimic the old style

Fixed some elements not being hidden when using 3 or more tabs (Thanks to Ben2k for pointing this out)
Moved tabs up to close up some of the whitespace and line up with right-hand links
(users with lots of tabs or large tabs that overlap right-hand links can undo this by removing a single, well documented line)

Recent change to the page caused the horizontal line to cross thru the links on the right. Shifted some margins to fix that.

UPDATE: Mar 20 2009
Fixed to work with most recent changes, particularly with the introduction of the chat feature.
(For now, I've just removed it. Ask in the forum if you'd prefer I move it somewhere else on the page.)
Also, modified tabs to integrate better with custome themes by sitting lower on the page.
Classic theme users can change this option by commenting out one line.
