Google should pay you for this and include this feature on Gmail by default!

Excellent, really. A suggestion: Please add an icon for WordPerfect files (*.wpd), which are less common these days but still widely used within some professional communities, mine included. *****

Brilliant. Should be de facto in Gmail (as so many people have said before me!) *****

I created a userscript that does the same so it can be easily configured, and can also be used in Internet Explorer (using Reify's Turnabout) - http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/7056 *****

Excellent! Can't imagine why this isn't built in in the first place. *****

#tbd img[title$=jpeg],
and
#tbd img[title$=JPEG],

Need to be added to the script. And what about more media types like mp4 and some other media types? But otherwise, I LOVE this script! *****

Much more than just cute pics of attachments folks - a great way to sort mail or look for mail you no longer need. Despite 3GB mailbox you still want to sort out junk; this is an excellent way! By configuring the attachment icons, you're left with the "paper clip" showing anything "suspicious." I chose less icon/file type choices, made new smaller icon sizes and compacted the code slightly, but I certainly wouldn't "nit-pick" and award ANY LESS than FIVE stars for this great style. Folks have to learn they CAN customize their own, if they're brave/bright enough to actually write a style. BRILLIANT IMPROVEMENT, Moktoipas, and thanks for your help in the past with questions I HAD as I learned. Cheers *****

Is it possible to change the location of the 'labels' box so that it is accessible near the top of the page or a drop down menu or something? I hate having to scroll down to the left to see it.

Nice style Moktoipas, glad to see the LifeHacker (http://www.lifehacker.com/software/gmail/add-attachment-icons-to-gmail-211315.php) link has given this style more coverage. *****
