Live titles, or microsummaries, are a new feature of Firefox. Normally, a bookmark's title will be the page's title and will not change. Live titles let you have an automatically updating bookmark title of some important bit of information on the page. For example, if you were bookmarking an online auction, the live title might tell you the current highest bid and how long the auction will be open for. That way, you don't have to keep visiting the site to see that important information - you can just look at the bookmark.
Few sites currently support live titles, but luckily, there's a way to define your own. Below is a list of live title generators that people have posted to this site. Click on the install button of any that interests you, and when you bookmark a page that it applies to, you will get the option to use the live title.
