Ok... I had what I like to call "MultiBar Linkitis". I was adding another toolbar to the chrome, plus I was using the Custombuttons ext (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/2707), so that I could have links that I regularly visited or considerably help, one click away. I've been taking my meds and now I'm over that. So now my links are two.. thats right two clicks away. I know, I know... you're saying, "but that so simple, just create a folder on the Bookmarks Bar", and I agree it is simple. But, if you have a crap load of links... that list can become extremely long. Here's where "ButtonBox" comes into play. Its basically takes that long list of links and converts them in to a tight woven box of favicons, hand made in the hills of Nepal, by part-time Yak Wranglers... and Aliens... and Bigfoot, I mean the Yeti. Sorry got sidetracked. Kinda similar to Stacks for Leopard.

*** IMPORTANT ***
All you have to do is create a folder on the Bookmarks Bar and name it "ButtonBox". Then enable the script. More than likely it'll require you to reboot Firefox. Once rebooted the Box ""SHOULD"" be working. And WAAAA-LAAAAA there you have it... like 24 karat rabbit.

If you don't want to call the folder "ButtonBox", then change the name but make sure to change it in the css. I don't see why you would want to though... "ButtonBox" is a perfectly good name, Scientist Agree!

If you like it please leave a comment and rate it please. If you have any issues then "Tough"... naw just kidding... let me know... and I'll try to fix it. Also it works in OS X... but on my rigs I couldn't get the tooltips to show... let me know if you have the same issue.

*** Updates Section ***
Modification suggested by TARO - to allow the bookmark buttons look more like original buttons:
replace - #bookmarks-ptf > toolbarbutton[label="ButtonBox"] .bookmark-item { padding: 0 !important;}
with - #bookmarks-ptf > toolbarbutton[label="ButtonBox"] .bookmark-item { padding: 0 !important; -moz-appearance: toolbarbutton !important;}

@TARO - Thanks for the feedback. Your suggestion is really a user preference. I was going merely going for the most compression as possible. I may roll another version with that minor change.

This is not working for me at all.

I named it ButtonBox with and without quotes, restarted. Nothing. **

You, sir, get 10 internets for this achievement, and another 10 for its description. *****

Wow...this is good stuff. It's like Leopard's stacks, only on Firefox.

I have one gripe though: would it be possible to show the title of the bookmark upon hovering on it? *****
