Answer: Thanks for the reminder, I had been procrastinating on that. It is fixed now, and I took the opportunity to include color differences on new/unread and selected, and such things.

Everything relevant to email, is finished. Address book, is finished.
To Do: The other application pages (Calendar, Notebook, etc.). I plan to leave that for another person to do. If you match it with this one, as an "add-on" style to this, post here about it and mention "painted black" in your "Long description", so it shows up in that keyword search.
Some of the applications, are currently only styled from the mail.yahoo.com domain perspective. That means that if you browse to them from another application (not mail), you might end up on another subdomain; which breaks the style. I'll fix it.
I removed the new "sign-in seal", since we userstylers don't need that feature to know if we're on the right domain. ^_^

Looks great! Just one problem. The width is not handled correctly. I can't see the date column in the Inbox screen.

when i hover my mouse on writing message, or when i hover my mouse to add message recipients
it turns into dark background, i can even see the txt inside it..

This is great, it gets rid of several problems I've had with yahoo mail classic.
The biggest problem I see is that my flags are no longer visible.
I'd really love a fix that restores the ability to flag certain messages.

not sure where wolfgrrl is getting off only giving this userstyle 3 stars. This is the best dark yahoo mail userstyle I have seen so far. encourage the users who devote their time to modify css and share their work.
