For more information about this very cool new proposal for a change in the Firefox UI, go to this url: http://diveintomark.org/archives/2006/04/25/new-focus-indicator
Changed the outline color to reflect the new rgba CSS3 color standard supported by Firefox 3 (still in alpha).

Love it! Have been using it for ages. Never fails to let me down!
Could you possibly make it adjust to rounded corners? (I'm sorry, I don't know anything about programming)
This is such a great script. Thank you so much!
mastavic/ http://userstyles.org/styles/305#review-2634
see line 14
-moz-outline: 2px solid -moz-rgba(16,186,224,0.5) !important;rgb (red,green,blue) - red (16) green (186) blue (224)
you can also replace
-moz-outline: 2px solid -moz-rgba(16,186,224,0.5) !important;dalton/ http://userstyles.org/styles/305#review-1044
-moz-outline: 2px solid #2469FF !important;Jhon/ http://userstyles.org/styles/305#review-691
-moz-outline: 2px solid #FC9C00 !important;you can also get the "pink power", lol
-moz-outline: 2px solid LightPink !important;and read the comments, next time. all your answers are already there. :)
thanks alot, very useful :)
But I would like that It highlighted only text boxes. Is there a way to do so?
Oh! Thanx! It's beutiful!
not implemented in ffx 3 yet :(
its a great idea!
I like it. A lot easier to use Firefox with it. I really do like the default color.
Works great, I love it. One problem when using with Stylish though is that it breaks Google docs spreadsheets. I was able to use the GreaseMonkey script and exclude those pages and it works great again.
Great script. One quick question. Is there any way to have the bright focus cover on the textboxes (and not the links or buttons)?
Thanks.
Absolutely beautiful. I would love to see something similar for chrome elements, though in a different colour (to prevent a dangerous confusion between chrome and content).
Bringing a bit of elegance back to poor old Windows. Just need this for all of my applications.
I really like the idea, but I do not like that particular color. Would it be possible to change it somehow? Thank you.
thanks!
now if there were only a way to prevent the firefox window from stealing focus from other applications... ;)
I tried to survive on the family computer without this.
It's become *that* necessary for me.
I've tried a few colors, and usually end up with the default blue, though orange also works. Sadly, greys won't work so well, with so many darker themed websites. ;(
Nice. Just what I need.
Very nice :3
Amazingly useful! Try it out!
Excellent style. Besides making Firefox Portable on the school PCs look more like a Mac, it makes it *way* easier to see the focus.

Like someone else said, what do I need this for. But I like checking out styles, and now I HAVE to have this one. Very well done!
Excellent, a good idea. Always use this style to navigate.
Also for the focus use, another better color as a brilliant orange:
*:focus { -moz-outline: 2px solid #FC9C00 !important; }
Excellent idea. Not a fan of the default color, though. I went with #2469FF
Niiiiiiiice , the default color .... EXCELENT choice very very eye relaxin´
This is the best thing ever.
It gets a 4 because trunk supports RGBA, so you can use rgba(16,186,224,0.5) instead and it's even better.

AWESOME! AT FIRST I THOUGHT "WHAT IS THE POINT OF THIS?" BUT NOW I AM LIKE "I AM SO GONNA KEEP THIS"
Excellent idea DesertFox! Love this.
Wow, pretty cool. It seems a bit excessive to do it on radio buttons as well, though, but hey, whatever.

Beautiful! This should be the default! *goes and votes for bug 251198*
Works beautifully.
Can you improve it by making it highlight the address bar and search bar too?
Looks great. 5/5!
So simple and SO necessary - just super. Had no idea it would improve so many sites (worth it just for Google!) - and a sensible, non eye-strain color too. Was going to just try it out, but it's a KEEPER! Thanks Frank!
i don't know how u got the idea but sure it's creative
